I am teaching an alternative energy class this year at Gatewood elementary in West Seattle.

I am asking for volunteers that want to help me design and build AE systems for the school.

Wind, solar, water.

Ideas: Convert the current gutter system into one that has a cistern.

Use passive solar to heat water and make steam.

Why am I telling you the possibilities? If your on this list you know what can be done.

Please, if you can volunteer some of your time to this project let me know.

All interested will be screened by Seattle School DIstrict

Erik,

Have you talked to the EOS Alliance (www.eosalliance.org) about this? Your program is exactly the sort of thing they do (also, they may have curriculum already prepared that you can use/borrow)

I'm looking to volunteer with alternative energy, so keep me in mind. I have a 40 hour/week job, so I couldn't give too much time, and I don't have skills specific to this type of scientific project, but if I can be of service let me know.
