Zen wall design

A few years ago in Reno I saw a house built with what was called a "Zan wall" design for a house. It provided an air channel in between an outer wall and inner wall. The channel was then heated by using passive solar and air currents to wash the channel with either warm or cool air.

No moving parts...no A/C or heater installed in the house.


Any body know more about this design? Does it actually work?
