EOS Alliance is seeking instructors for Energy Conservation Workshops

EOS Alliance is planning November workshops in Seattle for the following topics:

Topic 1: DIY Energy Conservation and Home Weatherization
- talk about behavioral energy conservation
- DIY weatherization recomendations
- possibly a hands-on workshop, depending on material donations from local hardware stores

Topic 2: Environmental Impacts of Energy Usage
- discussion of the current ways of producing energy, and their relative environmental impacts
- consider the balance between using renewable energy sources and energy conservation
- talk about small-scale residential options for energy/heat production

The workshops will be mid-November (hopefully Nov 14th & 21st), about 2hrs long (maximum). Please let me know if you all have any ideas or interest in participating!

(i've have talked to Seattle City Light about getting a speaker from them, but I've had trouble getting follow-through from them about actually planning dates and speakers - if any of you have direct contacts with SCL or PSE that you're willing to share, I would greatly appreciate it! )
