About The Charleston Alternative Energy Meetup Group

Several years ago a group of us began meeting to discuss the feasibility of biofuels. We began meeting monthly and a number of individuals began attending with interests in various forms of alternative renewable energy. I began the website and the group began to grow. Now several years later we are meeting via conference call and partnering with a number of organizations such as the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy to provide information about alternative energy as well as pool resources in order to make it available. We have moved to a conference call/webinar format for most meetings in order to make the meetings more convenient and allow more people to participate. This is a dynamic group of individuals that are intent on creating a better future. We look forward to hearing your voice and participation in the next meeting!
