Michael Burns is a Licensed Professional Geologist in North and South Carolina and Certified/Licensed Well Driller.
Environmental Drilling & Geothermal Exploration Solutions (dba. "EDGE Solutions") is a professional drilling company owned and operated Mr. Michael Burns and Mr. C.R. "Mac" McCrary, III. They are both Certified Well Drillers and Licensed Professional Geologists and have worked in the environmental industry for a combined total of greater than 20-years. EDGE Solutions was incorporated in June of 2007 to meet the need for professionally competent and techically defensible geothermal drillers in coastal South Carolina. EDGE Solutions handles all types of geothermal heat exchange loop installations for both residential and commercial clients and includes: 1) horizontal, 2) vertical, and 3) surface water loops. All employees of EDGE Solutions are accredited by the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association and WaterFurnace. Due to their past experiences in the environmental consuling business, EDGE Solutions also serves as a subcontract drilling firm for the installation of environmental monitoring wells and borings for their environmental consulting clients.
