It's that time of the year again! The 9th Annual Renewable Energy Roundup and Green Living Fair wil be in Fredericksburg between September 26-28.

This year will include speakers and vendors on a variety of organics and green building technologies.

Solar - Wind - Geothermal - Water Use & Reuse - Energy Conservation - Rainwater Harvesting - Green & Sustainable Building - Organic Growing - Alternative Transportation - Straw Bale Construction - Exhibits - Free Guest Speakers - Natural Food - Family Activities

Fee: $20 for a 3-day pass or $10 (for Friday or Sunday) or $12 (for Saturday).

This isn't like one of our usual meetups, but if anyone is planning to go, it would be great if you RSVPed and perhaps we'll see you there! Also, if anyone is interested in getting together for lunch or dinner, please email me and I'll try to arrange something.

    Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. I soaked in information for three days, and can't wait to go again. I'll be happy to talk about it with anyone who is contemplating going. See you at the Meetup, Saturday, Aug 16, 1-3 pm, Central Market.

    • “ There were much more interesting vendors at this year's Roundup. I also liked that they had a 'water dispensing area' --encouraging people to bring reusable water containers. However, I thought the seminars this year were very weak. The speakers and their presentations should've been reviewed first. These seminars could've had a lot more content and used more visuals. ”
