    Yes, we usually have the meetup on the 4th Saturday of each month. However, for September, we didn't want the meetup to conflict with the Fredericksburg Renewable Energy Roundup that is happening on the 4th weekend.

    I am seriously wanting to convert my 55 gallon water heater over to a tankless water heater. I am amazed at how much energy my current water heater actually consumes. Any tips would be appreciated!

      “ This was very helpful and informative. After the conversations started, I realized there are many people with extensive knowledge. ”
    • “ Unfortunately the point of the meeting was lost due to the method of the presentation. Instead of attempting to run a 'new software' program straight-out of the gate, the presenter should have made a powerpoint presentation to make the points. We had to leave after an hour, so missed a lot, darn it. [Note our August TXU price per kWh was 12.30 cents. the Atmos gas was $11.08 per '000 CF] I am hoping to find out if there are others in the group who live up in Plano. I have an idea for the local area that I'd like to get a small group interested in discussing. ”
    • “ What a passionate crowd! In addition to good interaction during the presentation, many stayed to talk informally afterwards. Rick rescued his presentation from lack of a rehearsal, by taking questions while the computer person searched for information. An initial review of his background and topics to be covered would have been helpful. ”
