I believe that it's long past due... there was a hydrogen car in 1978, electric cars for over a century (albeit with far less efficient systems). Alternatives exist, but the money for research and developement has largely bypassed these alternatives

It's a good group of people with the right motivations. Ideas are good, but solutions are great, and these folks seem to have the right mind set that just talking about change without action is bountiless.
