Cumberland County Democratic Committee Meeting

6:30pm Informal Networking and 7:00pm Meeting, Cumberland (Municipal) Town Hall, 290 Tuttle Road

This is a regular monthly meeting of the CCDC. The program will cover global warming and what CCDC members can do to reduce carbon emissions in their own lives and in their communities. Guest speakers will include:

* Senator Phil Bartlett and Representative Larry Bliss, Co-Chairs of the Joint Utilities and Energy Committee, Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative

* David Littell, Commissioner, ME Department of Environmental Protection, ME Greenhouse Gas Initiative and Governor's Carbon Challenge

* Jim Cohen, former Mayor of Portland, who signed the U.S. Mayor's Climate Protection Agreement in June 2006

* Ned Jones and Ami Robbins, Yarmouth High School
