About Boulder Sustainable Energy Group

We are a group of diverse individuals, who share a common interest in learning how to live and work in more environmentally sustainable ways. Reducing our direct consumption of fossil fuels is of particular concern, because of the far-reaching and long-lasting consequences of global climate change. Yet, we understand that our choices of foods and products have varying, and indirect, impacts on the atmosphere and on natural resources in general. Understanding the consequences of our actions, or inactions, can be confounding. We are motivated to help each other cut through the 'green washing' so prevalent today, and make wiser lifestyle and consumer choices, and political choices.
