Hi.

This will be the second meeting of the NY Wind Power meetup group. Our mission is currently two-fold:

1. Increase awaweness about the green power options for electric available to NYC electric customers and increase participation in the program. Learn more here.

2. Bring the first wind farm to NYC. Proposed locations include Governors Island, Coney Island, Red Hook, and the Hudson River South of 40th.

We will discuss wind power- tlak about ideas for preading the word about green power, discuss locations for a nyc wind farm, watch a video, and hear new ideas.

Earthmatters is a great cafe with internet and a nice seating area upstairs. Stop by on the 13th, 7pm.
