About Renewable Energy Taskforce
The South Metro Denver Chamber Renewable Energy Taskforce is leading a coalition of leaders in a public/private partnership to explore aspects of renewable energy. These forward-thinking business professionals want to create jobs, put Colorado on the map as a technology hub and provide an energy road map for the next generation. This is the execution of the idea that the entire south metro area can exist on alternative and renewable fuels.
The Renewable Energy Task Force meets every third Friday of each month at the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce at 6840 S University Blvd in Centennial, CO 80122. Each monthly meeting features a speaker from local businesses and governments who reveal what work is being done by them and others and how it affects the local economy as well as the efforts being taken to acheive efficiency and sustainability. Another key part of the monthly meeting are areas of focus that leaders in the community have stepped up and coordinated a plan to address that issue.

In this way, this meetup is much more than a place where people just sit around and talk. This meetup is for those people who have a yearning to get involved at a core level in the movement towards renewable energy and sustainability! Join this meetup if you are looking to take a leadership role in many unique and exciting opportunities in the shift to living green!
It begins with conservation and recycling and moves into tomorrow with all sorts of new "green" initiatives. Whether you are looking at "green" as a way to save Mother Earth or "green" as a way to profit on this new eco-economy, this Task Force has both goals in mind for south metro businesses.
