Solar One Energy Connections connects New York City residents, businesses, and community based organizations to energy efficiency and renewable energy resources through education, outreach, and project partnerships. Our mission is to make all New Yorkers part of our city’s ambitious efforts to combat climate change and develop a clean, green economy.

We are a community partnership for clean, renewable energy. We organize Saturday afternoon seminars that bring together experts in green energy topics from academia, government, industry, and non-profit organizations to share their expertise and resources with individuals who want to power their homes and businesses with clean, renewable energy. Our next two seminars are on Saturday, February 13th from 1-4:00 PM and Saturday, May 1st, from 1-4:00 PM at Green Spaces NY.

ReNEW New York is a coalition of enviro groups which hosts events about renewable energy. Our focus is to replace the development of fossil fuels, especially fracked shale gas, with wind, water and solar power. A monthly series of panel discussions explores topics related to sustainable energy and urban living.
